This recipe for a healthy chocolate milkshake actually came about by accident when I put too much cacao in the blender (it happens to the best of us). But I have to say, this was a happy little accident, because I ended up creating a healthy, vegan version of one of my childhood favourite drinks!
This milkshake is full of good stuff including:
- Avocado – amazing source of heart-healthy fatty acids, potassium, fibre and more.
- Cacao – bucket loads of antioxidants
- Banana – one of my favourite fruits and a great source of energy
- Berries – high in nutrients and low in sugar
You could whizz this up in the blender and enjoy as breakfast, or snack or dessert!
