
Guys, I know. Green smoothies aren’t as pretty as the berry & banana and mango & passion fruit combos. You could be forgiven for thinking it’s just a glass of vegetables blended up into gross green mush. That certainly seems to be the reaction I’ve always had when people see me drinking a green smoothie.
But, I’m here to tell you that they’re really not that bad. If I may be so bold, this one is actually…nice. Yes, that’s quite the claim.
In this Fruity Green Smoothie, you can’t even taste the green-ness. It tastes like rainbows. It’s super fruity, with mango, pineapple and ginger being the main flavours. Thanks to the avocado, it’s also thick, creamy, and contains a good ol’ dose of healthy fats. Lovely.
Ingredients
- 1 handful of spinach
- 1 handful of kale
- 1 banana
- 1 handful frozen mango
- 1 handful frozen pineapple
- 1 small avocado
- 1 small piece of ginger, peeled
- 2 cups of almond milk
- 1 cup of water
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- 1 squeeze of lemon (optional)
Instructions
- Pop it in a blender, wizz it all up, and enjoy!
